About Villages Clark County
Villages Clark County is a vibrant nonprofit community that helps older adults stay active, independent, and connected in the place they call home. Through members, volunteers, trusted referrals, and local partnerships, we create practical support and meaningful connection that helps people age well in community.
We believe aging can be shaped by connection, choice, and mutual support. Villages Clark County exists to reduce isolation, support independence, and help older adults remain engaged in the neighborhoods and communities they love for as long as possible.
How We Help
Members enjoy a wide range of services, programs, and activities that support quality of life today while also creating greater peace of mind for the future. Support may be social, cultural, physical, or practical, depending on what members need and when they need it.
Our flexible approach allows members to tap into community activities, volunteer support, trusted referrals, and helpful resources in ways that fit their lives.
A Community of Support
Villages Clark County relies on neighbors helping neighbors. We are strengthened by an extensive volunteer pool, screened service providers, and partnerships with local agencies, groups, and businesses.
Together, these relationships create a strong support network that helps members remain independent and connected.
Part of a Larger Village Movement
Villages Clark County is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit based in Vancouver, Washington and serving Clark County, as volunteer availability allows. We are part of the national virtual village movement, a growing network of community-based organizations designed to help older adults remain in their homes and stay engaged in their communities.
There are multiple local villages in the Portland-Vancouver area and hundreds more across the country. This model is built on the idea that people thrive when support, connection, and practical help are rooted in community.
