Who We Are
Villages Clark County (VCC) is a vibrant nonprofit that connects members with each other and with the resources we need to stay active, independent and fulfilled. We rely on one another—and on an extensive volunteer pool, screened service providers and partnerships with local agencies, groups and businesses.
Members enjoy a multitude of services and programs – whether they be social, cultural, physical or practical, that enhance our quality of life today, while also helping develop peace of mind about the future. Our flexible approach allows members to tap into our community activities as they need them, when they want them.
Please view our VCC flyer (below) for a further description of WHO we are, WHY we exist, and HOW we help each other. Feel free to download (right click on the page and select “Save Image As…”) and share with friends and neighbors. Join us as we create our own future for aging, where and how we want it to be.
VCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit grassroots organization in Vancouver Washington. By providing a strong support network through volunteers and trusted business/social referrals, older residents can stay in the homes of their choosing and stay engaged in the neighborhoods they love, for as long as possible. VCC serves all of Clark County, to the extent that volunteers are available to assist. VCC is based on the national “virtual village model.” Currently there are 10 local Portland-Vancouver area villages, and over 250 other virtual villages actively serving across the United States, with many more in the works. For more information about the village movement, visit villagesnw.org (locally) or vtvnetwork.org (nationally).
